Cadmus Academies is the result of the union of three people committed to improving educational opportunities in Honduras and Central America. These people are: James Tooley, author of The Beautiful Tree, a book that chronicles his personal journey through which he discovered low-cost public schools, and entrepreneurs Massimo Mazzone, President of Grupo 3C and Guillermo Aguilar, General Manager of the group, who contacted James in 2013 after reading his book.
Cadmus Academies seeks to establish schools that outperform existing public schools and cost a fraction of the price of public schools.
The first CADMUS school was inaugurated in Colonia Vista Hermosa Sur in February 2016, and currently has 3 locations and aims to open schools throughout Honduras and the region.
